Conditions for joining:
The ability to walk 4-6 hours a day, without any equipment (porters will be carrying your equipment).
Cost:
The planned budgetary framework is approximately $2,200 (2,350 for a jeep tour), not including the cost of the flights to and from Nepal. The trip’s cost is well below average, especially in light of the high quality of the hotels, and the internal flights (which are meant to save time.)
Hotels:
In Kathmandu Valley, in Pokhara, and in the Chitwan Royal Park the hotels are situated in breathtaking spots and meet very high standards. During the trek, the lodgings will be tea houses/guesthouses.
The cost of the flights depends on the season.
The price includes:
• 4-5-star hotels in Pokhara and Kathmandu Valley
• 3-5-star hotels in Kathmandu and Chitwan (for a double room and breakfast)
• In several of the hotels, dinner is included in the price
• Meals in Chitwan Royal Park
• Guesthouses during the trek
• 3 meals during the trek on foot
• 2 bottles of mineral water per day during the trek on foot and in Chitwan Royal Park
• Tourist bus
• 2 internal flights
• An Israeli escort- either Gur Kozer
• Entrance into the tourist sites and events including folklore shows
• Porters and a local guide during the trek on foot
• A local, English-speaking guide throughout the trip
• An entry permit (permit for trek)
The price does not include:
• Flights to and from Nepal
• Exit taxes from Nepal, if they are required
• Gratuities for guides and porters
• Drinks during the meals
• Meals in the cities and Kathmandu Valley
• Health insurance and traveler’s insurance
• Other optional items
Requirements:
Travelers headed to Nepal must hold an updated passport with an expiration date no less than 6 months from the departure date Visa to Nepal, which must be ready no less than 3 weeks prior to the departure date Visa to India (in the event that the flights are routed through India) which must be ready no less than 3 weeks prior to the departure date 3 passport pictures and a photocopy of the passport (the page with your picture), required for receiving a trek license A photocopy of your insurance policy- both health and traveler’s Vaccinations in accordance with the Ministry of Health’s guidelines, or those of Israel’s travelers’ clinics
Cancellation Policies:
Cancelling from registration until 45 days prior to departure, will incur a $85 cancellation fee. Cancelling 44-32 days prior to departure will incur a $385 fee. Cancelling 31-15 days prior to departure will incur a $1000 fee. Cancelling 14-8 days prior to departure will incur a $1500 fee. Cancelling 7-4 days prior to departure will incur a cancellatih fee of 90% of the cost of the trip. Cancelling within 3 working days prior to departure will incur a cancellatih fee of 100% of the cost of the trip. Working days are Sunday-Thursday, not including Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays.
We strongly encourage you to purchase health and traveler’s insurance, which will cover the cost of cancelling your trip for medical reasons (either the traveler’s or a close family member’s).
