Who We Are
Gur Kozer
Born and raised in Kibbutz Sha’ar HaGolan, the Kibbutz is also where he learned to love nature, adventure, and all things out of the ordinary. After his mandatory army service, he moved from the Sha’ar HaGolan to Ra’anana, where he lives to this day. For many years, he owned his own loss adjustment and arbitration company that dealt with everything having to do with property, agriculture, equipment, etc.
In addition to his work, his love of travel compelled him to organize small groups of nature and travel-lovers for trips within Israel and abroad.
Gur contributed an entry on Nahal Amud to the Israel Guide and Views and Sites, comprehensive nature and travel guide. He was also among the first people to help mark out a route for the Israel National Trail. In 1994, together with a group that he organized, he visited Nepal for the first time; it was love at first sight for the country and its people.
Gur kept in touch with his Nepalese friend, Hari, the owner of the Rhino Travel Agency Ltd., one of Nepal’s leading travel agencies.
